while sepulveda played a good game, mendenhall should have got it

2 td's against a ravens defense stacking the box against the run i thought was pretty impressive

I agree with "Fire Arians" (on BOTH counts!) Mendy deserves the HH and we need to FIRE ARIANS. Mendy thrown to the wolves and held his own quite well considering he is all we have, at least all we show. I believe Redzone could be something but we'll never know, will we? Mendy deserves majoe-league KUDOS for the 1st qtr of the season! Offensive MVP so far.

Will a Hi-Light film of the referee's game make it to NFL HQ? Ravens OL was further back from center than Obama is from his innaugural approval ratings. That's sayin' somethin' right there. I thought there were rules for OL line-up as to the where's and how's. Geez, Ed Hocker-lee should have some explaining to do. Jamie being pulled down, held, mugged, and just about anything else NOT allowed in plain sight and nothing gets called?

Not cryin' in the soup but come on. Some blatant activity going on here

Agree with Sepulveda getting the coveted HH Award, because in this game he was asked to boom them (which he can do) and was not asked to pin the opponent inside the 10 (which he cannot do with any consistency whatsoever).

34 gets an honorable mention, but I am starting to get tired of all the spinning.....

I hear you on the spinning and it can be wearrisome, like Stefan Logan last year running into the wedge blockers after countless kickoffs and Willie Parker running up Colon's colon on off-tackle plays, HOWEVER, he gets yards and has broken a few initial tackle attempts to get that extra yard.

I will gladly take those spins for a few extra yds after seeing how easy it has been to get FWP to the ground the last few years. Not saying he wasn't a tough guy, just that FWP was NOT a power, tackle-breaking runner. He always went down after contact though, and it was the intial contact most times. Mendy has the toughness that can break some of those initial hits. The spins do make him hard to hold on to.

Redzone is the straight ahead, fallling forward guy you need for those 3rd down converts. Oh yeah, I forgot,... we don't do 3rd down converts. Not allowed in this offense.

Absolutely agree that Mendy is a major upgrade from FWP.
