Steelers play slovenly boneheaded unprofessional uninspired error riddled pussified game today and lose a winnable game to the ratbirds. Every aspect of play sucked scrotum. Kicking returns defense offense coaching with multiple boneheaded penalties galore. In a weak assed version of turtle Steelers march backwards from the 4 yard line on last horrifying possesion only to cap the punt with a penalty (thrown by the flag happy Steelers hating Zebras) by Keyaron the ahole Foxto give the rats field postion inside the 40. The Defense then does it's impression of the 2008 Superbowl and lays out huge swathes of open real estate to the flaccid flacco the Flunko allowing Rats into the End Zone along with a mint on a pillow

Really, who could of predicted a letdown after 3 physical games against tough opponents without your pro bowl QB? Big deal, yeah they could of won this game, but it still would of been a sloppy disappointing performance. It's not like we didn't play hard. Just mental lapses and mistakes. IT HAPPENS. But not to you of course...you and another "mod" on here have all the foresight and knowledge to go 16-0 and win superbowls every year, but for some strange reason the rooney's haven't called you guys in for an interview. Just because The Steelers weren't "expected" to go 3-0 up until today does not justify them giving away a divisional home game, and to a bunch of old men and has beens known as The Ravens, no less. If they would've gotten their asses handed to them, that's one thing. But to have this game end as so many did last season is 100 times harder to take. This isn't The NBA/NHL/MLB were you play several times in a week and can afford to drop one or a couple now and then. Apparently, they have not learned from their mistakes last year, or it would stand to reason this game would've ended in a W....

I think a bit too many people bought into the whole 3-0 thing. Fact is we are by and far the same team as last year, so why is it such a shocker we lose a close game in the final seconds? The past 4 or 5 games against the ravens have gone down to who has the ball in the final seconds. Our offense couldn't win the game with Charlie Batch under center backed up to our goal line in the final 2 mins. Are we truly surprised by this? We hung in close against a good team. Yeah they are old has-beens but we have the king of has-beens as our starting QB!! They came in and hung tough against our team and won the game. End of story. Whining about penalties or blaming coaches is what pussy fans do. If you want to bitch and whine about penalties and the coaches you might as well put on a romo jersey b/c you'll fit right in with their fans.

We were at home and had them. Reed misses 2 FG's and Arians turtles at the exact wrong time. According to you, we were 3-0 so what did we have to lose by throwing a pass down there on the 3. Hell, Kemo and Speath were shitting there drawers thinking of having to block on a running play anyways. No, its the absolute boneheaded play to lose approach that enrages me. These are Pros, they are paid to rise to the occasion. They decided to goof off today so I am going to bitch.

That's all it was. We matched up extremely well with our 4th string QB against a team that supposedly was the shoe in for the superbowl before the season started. If our defense can keep teams to 17 points or less the rest of the season, we'll be in good shape with ben coming back. had he played yesterday i'm sure we would of had another TD easy.

Why are there posts that try to point out the steelers didn't show up yesterday. Sure they made mistakes, but to claim they didn't play to win, or mailed it in, is completely unjustified. I am a bit surprised at that sentiment. Uninspired? Like Mendy's second efforts, Randle El's fingertip grab, Clark cracking a TE twice his size, Casey Hampton pushing the center backward to knock the ball out of Flaccid's hands, Timmons all over the field, again. Plenty of agressive inspirational play for me - just mistakes that cost us. Heck, even McFadden's last coverage was an agressive mistake. If we hold them at the end of the game, a difference of one or two plays, suddenly everyone is saying how the steelers rose to the occasion.

C'mon - listen to yourselves. I don't like losing either but lets be smart about it. Same mistakes here as in the previous three games and as another person posted here - same as 16 games last season. I guess all the other 12 teams that lost yesterday showed up purposely just to lose.
