I feel like starting every post out with "On the Steelers" just to continue to show how stupid Douchette looks using it for everyone of his columns.

Tenn. D was horrible against the pass last year and mediocre against the run. Something I wish we could take advantage of but our passing is rather weak. If the Titans passing D hasn't improve it may give DD a few more looks downfield.

I think we are looking to score 23+ points this week. C. Johnson will obvioulsy get his yards and keeping under 100 will be difficult. Keeping him out of the endzond will be more important. He would have taken off for 6 on some of Turner's runs this past sunday. Even though our Defense did a good job. My worry is that I am not sure Dixon can get involved in a mini-shootout if C. Johnson starts finding room.

But the wild card is that I think Vince Young will help keep our defense honest and move their offense enough to score some points. Vince Young has that winning quality no matter what his stats read. Combining VY and CJohnson together is quite a load.

Vince Young is a lesser version of Steve McNair. If our D keeps the pressure on with NON-VELCRO blitzes, VY will commit enough turnovers to give us the victory. On the other hand, we could play soft and make him look like Joe Montana. Stopping Johnson is #1 priority, then make VY beat you thru the air.

On the other side of the ball, Bruce Arians (@$%#@ #!!@## that he is) MUST take the training wheels off Dixon and let the kid play. We threw EXACTLY 1 deep pass last Sunday, and it went for 52 yards. It worked too well, and Arians scrapped that idea for the rest of the game. He checked his little box on the play sheet and that was it. In order to be successful against the Flaming Thumbtack D, we must stretch the field with Wallace and Sanders. If you want to keep their safeties out of your backfield on run support, make them cover Miller & Spaeth down the field (a total mismatch, BTW).

Dixon doesn't have a good enough arm to throw the deep ball often. If there's a safety over the top of the receiver he's targeting, prepare for an interception. The kid can't even throw to the sideline because he has no zip to his ball.

Didn't Dixon look like a total amateur practicing his throwing motion two times after the sideline pass he almost had intercepted. You would have thought he was on the golf course or at the free throw line. Everything about the guy is immature.

IMO we have a chance of keeping CJ2K under 100 rushing. It's the swing passes out of the backfield that scare me. Nate Washington is still too nervous to make a difference. Kenny Britt can be handled by Taylor. However, Farrior will get chewed to pieces by the screen passes and swing passes. It would almost be worth having Polamalu spy him, that is if we could generate pressure on VY.

Neither Farrior nor Woodley should be covering anyone. Even at his age, Farrior excels at filling the gaps, but placing him in coverage scares the hell out of me! Woodley excels at the pass rush, but will get burnt in coverage as well. Those duties should belong to Harrison or preferrably Timmons. As a matter of fact, Timmons should spy CJ2K all day long. We need Troy to stay back in the secondary since it seems he is the only one who has a clue how to create turnovers!

Silverback on CJ is a bad idea, I think. I agree with Timmons on CJ though. How about putting Fox on CJ. He moves a lot better than Harrison or Farrior.

Now THAT is too funny! Velcro-Blitzes! What is up with our guys running around looking to run into blockers?

DD has a fine arm..he had a few terrible passes but that was only to ensure he didnt f up which allowed the defense and the team as a whole to shine. his best ability however is in the run game... he gives a lot faster handoffs than BR...that makes a huge difference... pouncey was awesome as expected and whoever they put in for maxy pad had a few nice blocks as well
