The Pittsburgh Steelers are moving WRs Emmanuel Sanders and Antonio Brown to the opposite wide receiver spot that they learned during training camp, reports Gerry Dulac, of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Sanders has been working exclusively at split end but will work at flanker during the team's preseason game Sunday, Aug. 29. Brown will move from flanker to split end for the game. The coaches looking to give the two receivers more to learn and want Sanders to learn both spots in case he has to play quickly because of an injury.

I really hope Randle El gets traded for a couple of late round draft picks. He really serves no purpose on this team other than taking up playing time from our rookie stud receivers. It was such a pussy move of both Colbert and Tomlin to sign one of Cowher's washed up boys.

Pouncey is already good. I'm seeing the possibility of greatness. Mendenhall's kickin' ass running the pill Ben shut their booing punk cakeholes with a nice laser beam to Wallace

Foote is his usual pedestrian run of the mill self. Sure, there's hustle but damn... you could time him with a calendar.

Re: Third Preseason Game August 29th
Thoughts on Opening 2 drives:
DEFENSE:
Pretty sad that Last years #1, Ziggy Hood, can't crack the starting line-up.
Steelers secondary still plays soft. Off the WR several yards, makes it easy to dink and dunk down the field on us.
Farrior takes blow to hemetless head. Looks like a cut. Going to need stitches. Done for the day for sure; hope he's OK....But will be good to see Fox get some time. (and others in this meaningless game)
Lewis and Timmons are both young and stupid. STUPID, STUPID PENALTIES. Can't have that when it counts.
Woodley missed a tackle for a loss, and looks bad on outside contain.
actually entire D looks bad on outside contain.
OFFENSE:
How is Essex the starting right guard? Disgraceful.
Pouncey has potential.
Wonder if Flozell's struggles have anything to do with switch to right side, or if his skills have just deminished.
Nice to see Wallace catch something.
Mendy is a beast. To bad the line can't open a hole & he always hads to cut back.
Good to see Ben wearing one of the newer helmets, maybe he'll get fewer concussions. (unlikley behind this line.)
He's still a great football player, but he isn't exactly accurate. (Missed Moore on the 3rd down.)
Ben answers his earlier miss on the next series by getting team out of the shadow of own endzone.
Wow, Dixon 2nd QB in this game. KNew he as getting some time with the 1st team, but thought it"d come after Lefty got some snaps. Guess we'll see if Dixon's preseason numbers are for real, or just due to playing against bums.
...3 and punt under Dixon. I'm ready for Lefty now.
SPECIAL TEAMS:
Antonio Brown is an idiot for fielding an punt inside the 5.
Snap was high on the FG.
Reed still can't get a kick off inside the 10, even in the thin air in Denver.

Easy pass out in the flat totally bungled by Dixon. If he starts opening day he doesn't start week two. I haven't seen this much paper tiger buzz since Jim Miller in 1996

nice reference.
Agree on the Dixon hype. (As proved by the INT he just threw.)
Redmon doesn't look like any paper tiger though.

C'mon Dennis either loft that bitch high or take it outta bounds!
Redmon's looking good for sure. I agree with you about Wallace, but I'm holding out on reaming the secondary. It looks more like soft zone schemes and since Pittsburgh, like any other team is going to be fairly ordinary with what they show I'll reserve any snappin' and trappin' during the regular season.

Lloyd fakes Lewis out of his JOCK.
and then Lewis draws his 2nd personal foul of game.
DUMB.
Let's see McFadden

Lewis looks terrible and then gives Tomlin a 'tude...Not a good combination.

Steelers traditions continue:
Starks with the false start.
Not to be outdown:
Flozell draws one on the next play.
This team is going no where if they don't stop the stupid penalties.

I just don't see the zip on Dixon's throws.
3rd string at best.

Re: Third Preseason Game August 29th
Why is anyone afraid to question Josh McDaniels' judgement with the whole Tebow thing? I mean come on...
Dixon's able to find the dumpoff guy but that's about it. If he gets any starts during the suspension gauntlet we better have the running game in high gear or we're fucked. Once again nice hustle by Wallace even though he was ruled out. Still liking what I see out of Pouncey. The false start nearly gave me a panic attack with visions of Willie dancing around my head, but Flozell isn't doing so bad for an old horse.

It's not McDaniels, it's Tebow. Media has a hard on for him. always have.
He's already a bust. They media won't admit it for 4 years though.
