If Ben goes does Arians, too?
At least maybe some good could come out of it.
I've been a huge Roethlisberger fan but I'm kind of like many on this board, this is just ridiculous. Can he lead the team after this? How many guys are going to sacrifice their bodies to block for a guy who can't keep his dick in his pants? How many receivers are going to take the punishement across the middle for a sex offender?
If the team has been hanging onto Arians to keep the franchise QB happy, why keep him? He's the guy who sold Ben on living at some retiree haven in the middle of Bumfuk Georgia anyway. Maybe if he spent the offseason in LA, full of willing women to climb onto any celebrity, he wouldn't be in this mess. What's the guy supposed to do, go powerboating then tag some 55 year old rich housewife? Almost don't blame the guy for driving 35 miles in search of something nubile and willing.

To take a different angle on the same argument, you could easily argue that the only reason this offense has has any success at all is because Ben continually pulls their asses out of the fire. So if Ben's gone, it stands to reason that the offense is going to absolutely plummet, which would pretty much force Tomlin and the front office to get rid of Arians.

Roethlisberger is the best offensive player we have. Be prepared for seasons like the bubby brister years when he is gone.
I will wait to call him a sex offender until he is actually found guilty of any crimes.

Regardless of whether Ben stays or goes you didn't have to have a BB reference. That's just cruel and unusual for those of us that lived through it. I may have to seek counseling now. Thanks a lot.
