A few things before we turn our attention towards the draft.
Stephan Logan. I have read some post from members who think he should go. These post are insane. He set a team record for kick return yardage and had some nice punt returns as well. BUT I don't think he belongs on the coverage teams. He's strictly a return man.
Mike Wallace. I told everyone who would listen after the draft that he would be an upgrade over Nate Washington. He's been a bright spot in a otherwise shitty season.
The secondary. This is the one area of our team that needs to be over hauled first. Clark, Carter and Gay are putrid. Deshea is a wily old veteran but he's lost a step or three. Troy can only stay healthy every other year. How proactive will the team be in making sweeping changes? Probably not very. And that's discouraging.
Outlook for 2010. Not good. Too many areas need to be upgraded. I honestly think we are two or three years away from getting back to Super Bowl contention.
