if both teams win, why doe houston go to the playoffs
over the steelers? both would be 9-7, both would have 6-6
afc records, and the ps are better in the division 2-4 vs 1-5.
Please help me out

Next tiebreaker after conference record is winning percentage in common games (at least four). Texans have a better record vs. Cinci, Oakland, Tennessee, and Dolphins than PS would. Texans would be 4-1 and the Steelers would be 2-3.
