Playoff hopes take another hit with flex game...
...which has been announced.
The Sunday night game is the Bengals vs the Jets.
If New England beats Houston, as we need them to do, then the Bengals will know they are shut out of the #3 seed.
They will have nothing to play for.
They will then roll over.
I'm amazed NBC picked this game...they must not have known the scenarios.
Unless they're going to hope that the primetime glare will keep Cincinnati from resting starters.

NBC took this game because it is the last game ever in Giants Stadium/Meadowlands.

I am not sure that the Bengals will just roll over. They need to re-establish themselves. You need some kind of swagger going into the playoffs. Just think about how you felt about our chances in a game after the last Browns game vs. the Packer game. I think they play to regain momentum after the death of Henry and other distractions.
Also, the Jets play a 3-4. This would be a fantastic tune-up for a lot of the teams they will see in the playoffs. Particularly any team vying for the 5th or 6th seed.

Lets just hope that Revis is not JT O'Sullivan's primary receiver
