Thoughts on Stiller Performance

Postby indysteel » Sat Dec 12, 2009 10:23 am

Looking around the board, it would appear the Stiller woes are being blamed on everything except for one thing:

They just aren't that good this year.

That includes the FO, players, and coaches. It happens.

Arians and LeBeau? Right now, it's NOT the plays being called -- it's execution.

What you ARE REALLY seeing is just plain suck ass execution. Nothing more, nothing less.

Fans (including myself) are trying to rationalize and explain this gigantic let down and in that attempt are blaming it on everything but perhaps the most important --- RIGHT NOW they JUST AREN'T THAT GOOD relative to the rest of the NFL.

We know they just aren't that good. That is the obvious part. What we're interested in knowing is why are they all of a sudden just not that good when just last season this same bunch was better than everyone else.

Could be any number of things.....

Tired, not motivated, older, complacent, etc....

Also, keep in mind that part of what is being reflected is PARITY. As Field Goal Bill used to say, "...there is a fine line between winning and losing in this league."
