Yeah, and I NEVER thought I would have READ something like that!
Amazing the job BA has done in last game.

Yeah but watch Arians this wk. Detroit will probly put 9 guys at the line & Foote will have about 15 tackles by halftime. Arians will have his thumb up his a$$ not knowing how to deal w/ it. Trust me, the Stillers will not turn Ben loose & are not going to win this gm easily. I say like 24-17 w/ another late scare.

Should I be surprised the Foote is the leading tackler on the Detroit team?

Yeah, Foote will give up all the intel to Detwat on how to play D against BA. This game will be tougher than the spread indicates. It will be interesting how BA prepares the team for this week. It's really all about focus at this point. I think Ben got on his O-line's ass a little bit before the Chargers game and, to their credit, Kemo and the bunch responded with better pass protection and run blocking, albeit against the rather cream-puff D-line of the bolts. But, a win is a win. The real test will be against the Vikings, who may have the best D-line in the league. If we can run and pass-protect against them, that will be a good omen for the rest of the season.

How many times have we discussed THIS issue?
Insanity is doing the same thing over & over while expecting a different result.
I sure hope my optimism in B.A.'s newfound brain cells is not on shakey ground.
One of my previous posts has FWP (or now, hopefully Mendy) running into the phone booth they call the line of scrimmage when opposing D has 9 in the box.
"Why"? you ask.
"Because that's where they all are!", says Bruce.

Our defense has always bent but never broke down, this year we are not as bad as some may say but we've picked the wrong time in the game to give up points. Our offense is great but I'm waiting to pass more judgement when we play other teams.

By Week 9, after the bye week, Troy P will have time to get completely healthy...This defense will look like a completely different unit

There is no way Troy back is going to fix this train wreck of a defense. From number 1 last year to bottom feeder the next. This is all on Dick and his head coach that allows it to happen. Another week and another 20 point given up. Last year there was debate if this was the best Stiller D of all time. That sure is a real hoot now
