Wallace deserves it. He had the hot hand of all the receivers last Sunday. I really like your point on how he doesn't pose and preen after a first down grab. I can't stand when Santonio does that crap.

Does it bother you less when Hines Ward does the same thing?

My opinion on that type of crap is simple, game circumstances should dictate the level of excitement for a successful play. A first down doesn't mean a thing if you are down by 20 with a minute left. Those celebrations are retarded. A big play that gives you a chance to either: a) win the game or b) turn the game around merits a celebratory moment.

Anything else is pretty much self-promotion. By the way, I once watched Joey Porte push aside his teammates to run out to the center of the field and celebrate solo (the famous Joey stomp) after a sack. That is low-class.
