Re: New Article: Best Bet Plus Two (week 4)
The Chiefs are so awful that the Giants entire roster including the practice squad could all go to a trendy NYC nightclub with illegal firearms, accidently shoot themselves, get two years at Fishkill Correctional Facility and Jerry Reese would still be able to find players off the street by this Sunday that could beat the Chiefs.
LMAO!

Don't feel bad Haven - I also took the Oakland Raiders last week thinking the team I saw against SD would win easily. Needless to say we both missed this one by a mile.
Still, I'm doing very well this year and I'm always looking for good ideas - keep them coming.

I'm nothing if not a devil's advocate. Let the pot stirring begin...
Browns +6- I would like the Browns for the same reason I liked the Bengals vs GB in wk.2. A team coming off an emotional win vs. a division rival is due for a letdown. Cedric Benson looks ripe for a few fumbles.
KC +9- This years Chiefs are similar to last years. Close road game loss wk. 1. Lose at home to a Raider team they should beat wk. 2. Go on the road wk. 3 to face a tough team and get blown out. Now they face an undefeated team at home wk. 4. Last year they beat Denver straight up as a +9 dog.
Wash -7.5 over Bucs- To be sure the Redskins aren't real good. TB is about the only team they should lay any points to. The Bucs are bad. They have a 2nd year guy making his first NFL start on the road. The Redskins will find a way to keep the pundits from placing them in the cellar with the rest of the teams who will vie for a top 5 pick this off-season, for now. Sam Bradford in Washington does seem to fit though.
Totals-
NYJ and NO- over 45
Indy and Sea- Over 44
GB and Min- Over 46
Undefeated teams favored by more than 3 facing another winning opponent in week 4 of the season have pushed the total over all 10 times they have played since 1996. GB is only a 3pt fave, but Favre has always played well in the dome.
Note: None of this is advice and almost all of the info is pud I've picked from other websites and magazines I have...Happy hunting.
