OMG...

Postby steelslep » Sun Sep 27, 2009 8:29 pm

Ok...let me talk most of you off the ledge...step back, easy does it...it's ok...there, lean back and take a deep breath...now, doesn't that feel better?

Yes, I know that you want the Steelers to win...so do I...BUT, you must understand that they aren't going to go 16-0, shut out all of their opponents and rip through the playoffs to ring #7...

Yes, they are 1-2 and trail the Shitbirds by 2 games, but it is still early...is it time to panic? no. Should you be concerned, well yes...Here's another BUT...they could just have easily and frankly, should be, 3-0. AND, they have not really played well.

Have faith, gents....we'll be fine...

Every thing you just posted I said in 2006 and we all saw the out come of that season, but I think Coach T cares more than Bill did during that year.

Why even post this drivel? Ben was coming off of a horrific bike accident where he barely survived. The team still went 8-8.

Give me a fucking break.

Sure, it's early. That's EXACTLY what the Lions said this time last year too.

This is a sonofabitch division. A two game gap is huge. It's also the way they are losing.

And for crying out loud -- this is not fucking HS football. Tomlin "caring" is a bunch of horseshit. These MFers get paid to play football and win. End of story.

No, we SHOULD be concerned on alot of fronts. You can blame it on whoever and whatever you want. However, no one gives a damn except for the W and L columns. That's ALL that matters.

Couldn't agree more with that quote.

back to football...

We should worry. Not because we're 1-2, but because we're 1-2 agains shit teams. If we can't get our shit together for the easy ones, we dam well better worry about the hard ones. We need to be panicing. We need to have a sense of urgency.

Why?

Because we expect, no - DEMAND, better from our beloved football team.

Man did you ever step in it. All the whistle past the graveyard - Alfred E Newman what me worry posts have been getting hammered, and now here you come with another one

You said "Here's another BUT.."

Forget the fucking buts, how about the facts

We are 1-2 and the Ravens are 3-0. We can not score points and we cannot stop opposing teams in the 4th quarter

Hines Ward himself is quoted as saying there are serious considerations here.

WAKE UP you goofball
