We have to root for NE next week against the Ravens. I'm soo pissed!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Re: Here's the really crappy part.
At the moment, as much as I hate to say it, Baltimore looks like the most dangerous team in the NFL.

yep. they can play defense (something we can't do)
and their offense also can score points (something we can't do)

Don't matter, the Ravens are going to beat us like rented mules. Unless ariens wakes up. There is no go for the throat in this team

You are right we need a mentality like Joey Peezy Porter had. Step on the neck and do not take the foot off.

Can you believe there's a chance we'll finish third in our division? Wow, sobering thought. What's the precedent for firing an O.C. mid season? Who was the last O.C. to get fired mid season, anyone know?

Maybe the loss is because all of the G20 VS Health Care protest.

Re: Here's the really crappy part.
Baltimore will not only beat us, they will embarass us. Offenses are averaging 50yds on the ground against them - that tranlates to negative yardage for us.
Steelers must have the greatest number of run attempts that go for negative yardage. We are constantly faced with 2nd and 12.

IMHO, "on the ground" is the operative phrase in that statistic. I think last week was an aberration and our ground game is still dead. I think we should take it back to 2002 when Maddox and the boys did it through the air. We've obviously found something in Wallace. His speed may eventually open up our ground game. But for now, I say AIR IT OUT and we have a shot.

NICE AVATAR...THAT'S ALL I HAVE TO SAY
Re: Here's the really crappy part.
For the record, the ratbirds beat KC and Cleve, 2 of the worst teams in the NFL ATM. Lets not hand the division over to them just yet.
We've got a lot of work to do, but I'm not ready to throw in my Terriable Towle just yet.

Great Point.
Re: Here's the really crappy part.
I believe we'll find out just how good the Ravens are this weekend.
I expect NE to win...even with a few key injuries.

Re: Here's the really crappy part.
Not only do the Crows have NE this wk, but they have Green Bay & Minn after that. If we can beat SD, we then play Det & Cleve. I'd say we'd be, at most, 1 gm behind the Crows by our bye.
Re: Here's the really crappy part.
at least NE has been there and done that. they have been a pretty good team.
you have to give them their due.
the teams i cant stand are like the clowns, the bungles, and the whupped 3 times last year ravens! they havent done ANYTHING and they still talk plenty of smack and show no respect. i wouldnt be so quick to hand the title over to baltimore just yet. longgg way to go.

Re: Here's the really crappy part.
I'm not convinced we can beat Baltimore this year until we beat someone we're SUPPOSED to win against. We can't continue to beat ourselves.
Let's see how tonight goes against SD first...
