Seemed to me from Starkey's article that Sweed's response was 'it was about the team - not him'. I am sure he is not happy, who would be, but where did the subject line of this string come from.

I'm sure they will both be used in diff packages this year. With Sweeds height, i can't see them not having him in when close to the endzone. But Wallace sure did look good as the game went on :subngtowl:

Competition should bring out the best in Sweed and Wallace. I look for the two of them to put up much better numbers than Washington did last year.

If our line can pass block worth a hoot in the coming weeks our top 4 WR's will wreak havoc on other teams secondaries. That does not even mention Miller and Moore.

The only way we don't score 24Pts a game is Arians play calling. Run no huddle and take him out of th equation.

Sweed is a friggin whiner. If he got his head out of his a$$ once in awhile, maybe he'd start. That friggin drop in the AFCC vs the Ravens could've turned out to be the biggest gaffe is Stiller history if Troy didn't rescue them w/ his INT.

I think this is the article being referenced here:
http://www.pittsburghlive.com/x/pittsburghtrib/sports/steelers/s_642877.html

They both do a good job of getting separation. I think Wallace has better hands. In the middle of the field, Wallace's speed also gives him an edge. I would really like to see Sweed used on a fade route once in a while in the Red Zone. If we are going to waste a down anyway with a mindless plunge into the teeth of the defense, why not waste a down with a play that might actually work.

Oh... right! I forgot, it's not fair to keep the defense off balance.

EDIT: This is the Starkey column:
