McDonalds Releases STEELERS’ 2008 SEASON Hilite DVD

McDONALD’S® TO BE EXCLUSIVE VENDOR FOR STEELERS’ 2008 SEASON HIGHLIGHTS DVD
Commemorative Video That Celebrates Championship Season Available Beginning Monday, September 7
PITTSBURGH, PA (August 28, 2009)…Local McDonald’s restaurants are ready to help Steelers fans kick-off the new season with the release of the team’s 2008 highlights DVD – available only at McDonald’s – beginning Monday, September 7. DVD sales will begin at 12 a.m. and continue while limited supplies last.
Brothers & Champions: The Pittsburgh Steelers 2008 Championship Season In Review features in-depth highlights, classic game plays and 10 minutes of footage never before released to the public. Narrated by Larry Richert, the DVD is available exclusively at local McDonald’s restaurants for just $7.99 with the purchase of any Extra Value Meal®.

A portion of the proceeds from each DVD sold will benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities®, which provides a home away from home for the families of seriously ill children receiving medical treatment at area hospitals. Each DVD package will also include $10 in savings coupons for McDonald’s food products.
“The Steelers are a treasure to the City of Pittsburgh,†said Dan Delligatti, president of the consortium of McDonald’s Owner/Operators. “The Brothers & Champions DVD will help us all relive the defining moments, personal challenges and public celebrations the team shared with us during that historic 2008 season.â€
Tony Quatrini, Director of Marketing for the Pittsburgh Steelers and a board member for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Pittsburgh commented, “The Steelers organization is pleased to partner with McDonald’s to provide our loyal fans with a terrific recap of the historic 2008 season and our friends at Ronald McDonald House Charities with a fundraiser to support their vital efforts on behalf of children.â€
