"I'd take Laron Landry over Polamalu anyday"
I didn't want to do this...but Washington's Safety coach Steve Jackson and his loud mouth are forcing me to hate the Redskins...

"In case you missed it, the Redskins were crowing before the game that their free safety, LaRon Landry, is better than the Steelers' Troy Polamalu.
"I'd take LaRon over [Polamalu] any day," Washington safeties coach Steve Jackson said last week. "They would probably rather have Polamalu because he does do the things like a linebacker with the blitzing ... But when you watch him play true free safety, it's not even close in my humble opinion as far as who the better safety is."
As if trying to emphasize that, on the first play from scrimmage Saturday night, Washington quarterback Jason Campbell dropped back from his 35 and heaved a deep pass toward wide receiver Malcolm Kelly. Kelly was about to catch the ball when Polamalu deftly batted it away near the Steelers' 20.
As safeties coach, Jackson should know the difference between Landry as a free safety playing center field and Polamalu's job, listed as strong safety but playing the entire field."
I think KiJana Carter is a better running back than Barry Sanders. It's just...you know...Barry was the right fit for that team and KiJana wasnt...

Wow. It's one thing to think your safety is better than Troy, but to come out and say it is a whole other kettle of fish. It's hard to argue with Troy's 2 super bowl rings. Landry might be a good safety but until he is an integral part of the best defense in the league and has one some big game wins under his belt I might choose to keep my opinions to myself.

Is that guy serious?!
I thought for a second that it was a lame attempt at humor or something.
That guy is a bozo. His safety is good, but probably needs to prove himself before being compared to the best in the league.

One question:
Which one has super bowl rings?

also, maybe if Steve Jackson knew two shits, he wouldn't be an assistant coach on an 8-8 team who didn't make the playoffs and finished last in their division.
what a dick.
