Sepulveda has resumed punting
Good News.
Ed Bouchette, of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, reports Pittsburgh Steelers P Daniel Sepulveda (knee) has resumed punting after undergoing knee surgery to repair a torn meniscus six weeks ago.

Re: Sepulveda has resumed punting
Sep stays healthy, D has better year than last year. Other than J-ville punt, I thought he was worth the pick at 4. With softer schedule, a year's experience, he can save D time on the field. Too many times opposition got FP and started drives at their 40 or better. I love how he goes for thedrops and the corners. I see way more 3 & outs. Means shorter drives for Ben & Company with better starting FP. Think of all the possibilites. I can see reverses, Miller and Spaeth on crossings, Tank out of the b-field, FWP on pitches, Mendy learning his game, Ward and Tone doing their thing and Sweed battling w/ Wallace for deep balls. Oh wait, my bad, we have Arians. FWP left, FWP right, Mendy up the gut, bring on Seppy. Geez, wish I didn't wake up.

more like:
we have Arians. FWP up the gut, FWP up the gut, Mendy to the outside, bring on Seppy.
Total mis-use of players.

It was a dream, Hammer! In reality, you're right on! We're in the same playbook! Do they (DOES HE? )ever learn from game film?

At what point does Tomlin step in and say enough is enough? We're not the only Stiller fans who have noticed the ineptitude of our OC. Every Stiller fan I talk to feels the same way. At some point this has to fall on the HC. If the offense is badly underacheiving and the HC does nothing then the blame has to fall at his feet at some point.

I agree, Fan. I guess the problem is a dilemma of sorts. How can you say "He isn't effective" when they go out and win a SB in spite of him. Now we go into this new season with arguably a "softer" schedule (although we all know that teams bring their "A" games to us), we should still be 12-4 / 13-3 or even 15-1. We should have a better defense, I believe with Timmons and Woodley on same side, better punting (God knows we'll need him!) giving better field transfer in our favor so defense gets more "3 & outs" . Sure do hope HC begins critical evaluation of ball control and moving the chains. This is where creativity (Mike Mularkey anyone?) separates the Pats from Us.
Wouldn't you love to know what the players think when some of these moronic, PREDICATBLE plays are called? With Ward & Miller, you just might have the best possession combo attack in NFL. Throw in a mismatched Spaeth on a safety and even I might be able to throw to one of those guys (quickly I might add, given the OL).
I would hope in film sessions they look at 3rd and 3's, 3rd & 5's that were missed and ask,
"Gee, Bruce, why the !@%$#&&*% did you send that play with that !@&%$# formation? Even the folks listening on radio could SEE that won't work?"
