A bit biased since it's from the Columbus paper, but here's some analysis.
A lot of people will try to discoun the times since OSU has traditionally had a "fast" track, but they are running on te same type of surface as in Indy this year.

Chris "Beanie" Wells might be dashing back up the draft boards, with Marcus Freeman close on his heels.
Wells, a tailback, and Freeman, a linebacker, were the clear stars yesterday at Ohio State's pro day in the Woody Hayes Athletic Center.
Representatives from 29 of 32 NFL teams were present, a school spokesman said, numbering about 60 people in all.
Wells likely erased worries about his speed. After posting a 4.59-second time in the 40-yard dash at the scouting combine in February, he slipped in some mock drafts, from mid-first round to late in the round or even out of it.
But yesterday, he blazed to times in the 4.39 to 4.42 range -- one team had him at 4.34. That's impressive for a 235-pound bruiser.
"I knew I was faster than what I ran at the combine," said Wells, who has been viewed as a mid to late first-round pick. "(At the combine) I wasn't relaxed at all, I fought it the whole way. Today I was relaxed. I definitely feel relieved."
Detroit Lions coach Jim Schwartz singled Wells out for praise, which is noteworthy because coaches usually talk in generalities. Schwartz's team has the first overall pick and five of the first 82 selections in the draft, set for April 25-26.
"Beanie Wells ran better than he did at the combine," Schwartz said. "That was impressive."
Freeman came into the pre-draft process as a bit of an enigma -- an athletic but often-injured player who usually took a back seat to fellow linebacker James Laurinaitis in recognition.
Freeman did well at the Senior Bowl and the combine, though, and backed it up yesterday. His 40 times were between 4.50 and 4.55 -- like Wells, a full two-tenths better than his combine time of 4.74, which was among the best times posted by linebackers at the combine.
"To me, it's just about going out and confirming that what happened in Indy, it wasn't a fluke," he said.
The other former Buckeyes who worked out yesterday pretty much held serve. There were no alarmingly slow times. Most of the players ran on the indoor FieldTurf surface -- the same as the combine surface, to make it easier to compare results.
Laurinaitis and cornerback Malcolm Jenkins are two projected first-round picks who came into yesterday hoping to answer some doubters after posting so-so 40 times at the combine.
Laurinaitis knocked a few ticks of his combine 40 of 4.80, posting times in the range of 4.72 to 4.78. He was pleased with how he performed in the agility drills.
"I just wanted to prove (my) change of direction, (and) playing in space," he said. "I think there's a misnomer that playing in the Big Ten, you don't have to play in space. But half the Big Ten is spread teams now, so it's just exciting to be in space, have (coaches) challenge you to see what you can do."
Jenkins was close to his Indy time of 4.55, running in the 4.50 to 4.56 range yesterday. He sounds at peace with speculation that he might be an NFL safety rather than a corner.
"It was funny, because at the beginning of this (process) I was like, 'No, I'm not a safety, I'm a corner,' " Jenkins said. "Then I heard one coach kind of compared me to (Baltimore Ravens Pro Bowl safety) Ed Reed, (and) I'm like, 'Hey, if you're going to say that, then cool, I'll listen.'

Perhaps. Jenkins may be a Santonio Holmes like target. If he slides past pick #X say, Pitt may make a move.
It could also just be going to look at a group of experienced athletic players. Any one of those guys could help a lot of teams.
