Screw all that Tomlin...where is the coaching for the Oline this year? One stupid penalty after another. The title game vs the Ravens an embarrassment to OLs everywhere! Porn hand-picked Colon to start over Starks 3 yrs ago where is Colon's progress? How bad did Starks regress under porn? Colbert responsible for picking these stiffs but everybody knows its coaches that turn prospects into players.

McLovin has been hating on Larry Z for quite some time. Truth be told, you can't make chicken soup out of chicken shit. Larry had very little talent to work with and they won a Superbowl. Your beef with the oline should be aimed at Colbert for not getting the necessary talent.

That said, if he gets good talent and shits the bed, then whack him. However, we don't know what he would be able to do with actual NFL caliber linemen.

Then again, he did patch a line together with complete rejects and somehow they won a Superbowl.

Gut...Read McLovin's post again...clearly stated "Colbert responsible for picking these stiffs." Gut is correct, who knows what porn could do with better talent? Nevermind the regular season and the arguement ben holds the ball too long and the fact the Steelers were 23rd in rushing. What pisses off McLovin even more about the OL is the truly STUPID penalities committed on a WEEKLY basis. Colon the master of the false start, Stapleton and Kemo holding, Starks can't even time a snap count...this is an undisciplined unit. This falls on the OL COACH!Adjustments? Where were they in games where Ben took a beating like Phili, Dallas, and Tennessee (shit Titans without 2 best DLmen in that game and Ben still got killed!)??? McLovin has been equally critical of Gut's point that Colbert needs to address the talent for the OL. Colbert drafted too many mid-round prospects that simply were not coached and developed by Larry Porn. McLovin grateful for the Super Bowl win...but if you want to repeat...sign Jon Stincomb, draft an OT and a center with your first two picks.

Mclovin,

How much $$ does Stincomb want 6-7 million?? Don't forget that Silverback is expecting to get paid in full.

Kalif Barnes is also available. But I think I'd rather keep Starks than bring Barnes in.
Any thoughts.

McLovin likes where your head is at Gut...but I think Stinchcomb can be had for less...McLovin thinks Stincomb average which is a monster improvement over Colon. Barnes was a player on the rise couple years ago but he's seemed to have dropped off. Barnes a solid pass blocker which fits Arians desire to throw more than Steeler fans would like, but if this guy was the real deal the Jags would have extended him before this year...especially given the troubles their line had this year. Stick to the trade up formula this year to fix LT. No more developmental types for McLovin!

Give Silverback his just reward with new contract extension. Fire Bruce Arians or just let Ben make 90% of the play calling AKA Peyton Manning. Replace at least three of your offensive lineman through the draft or free agency. Keep Dick the best DC for the Stillers. Why ask Mill? Because the players will play their hearts out for him. :suxfingers:

Ed Bouchette, of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, reports the Pittsburgh Steelers will keep their entire coaching staff intact for the third consecutive season in 2009. Linebackers coach Keith Butler turned down a chance to become the defensive coordinator of the Arizona Cardinals after speaking to head coach Ken Whisenhunt about the job on the phone after the team granted permission Friday, Feb. 13.
