Chuck Finder, of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, reports Pittsburgh Steelers WR Nate Washington (undisclosed) suffered an undisclosed injury during Super Bowl XLIII but did not miss any time. He had his arm in the sling after the game, and that LB James Farrior (groin) suffered a groin injury during Super Bowl XLIII but did not miss any time.


Scott Brown, of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, reports Pittsburgh Steelers WR Hines Ward (knee) said he may need to undergo surgery on his sprained right knee.
