Fitz/Taylor jump ball TD!

Postby UKBlackNGold » Mon Feb 02, 2009 5:34 am

Am I the only one, . . . .

I thought on inspection that the nose of the football hit the turf before he had total control,
never saw a superslowmo close up, but pretty sure the ball hit the turf!!

Should have at least challenged it in my eyes!

I second that! When I saw that first slow motion replay I thought the same thing!

I saw the tip of the ball hit the turf as well. I was surprised by the non challenge.

I didn't get on here yesterday at all, so I'm sure it was discussed, but challenging wouldn't have done any good - Big Ben's knees still haven't touched the ground on his TD that was reversed.

I TVO'd it...it definitely hit the turf.. Fitz smartly cradled it to hide it from ref...but it definitely did. I cannot believe nobody saw that.. The NFL Wanted a close game and that may have sealed AZ's doom earlier than they wanted.

it hit the turf, but it's allowed to if he has full possession, which he probably did. the ball didn't move when it hit the turf, so i think it's a catch. close enough to review? maybe, but i don't think it would've been conclusive. good non-challenge.
