Pittsburgh Steelers. As usual, Pittsburgh wasn’t a big player in free agency—and it took a big hit when seven-time Pro Bowl guard Alan Faneca left for the Jets. Running back Rashard Mendenhall and wide receiver Limas Sweed are rookie skill players who could help immediately.

Some guys are all about big name signings
Re: Sporting News Offseason Report Cards...
Losing Faneca only hurts slightly. He is clearly on the downside and in 2007 was not dominant like he once was.
The problem is not losing Fancea..........the problem is we reallly don't have any one proven to replace him.

And the even bigger problem is our borderline retarded head coach signing Simmons to an ungodly contract.......
This humongous blunder, combined with his signature on the Mahan signing (not to mention the 2pt conversions vs Jax...... and the 3rd & 6, etc, etc, etc) are what is hurting this team the most at present.
Let's hope this next season doesn't provide proof of Tomlin being an absolutely rabid crack addict.

I think Faneca was our best OL but was not worth the money.
I have not figured out the appeal of Simmons to the Steelers, that has puzzled me for a few years. Anyone else understand that?

I hope you need a blood transfusion Lynchcowher, and the only blood available is a black jewish woman. Do yourself and everyone else a favor and take a fatal overdose of your medication. You are a squeaking rat, a mistake of nature, a racist douchebag.
