What happenned to Troy?

Postby JumboHeadYouks » Mon Feb 02, 2009 12:24 am

He wasn't really coming on blitzes much and he missed a few tackles.. He, along with the rest of the secondary, got torched repeatedly. He made one nice play on Boldin...which I thought he should have picked.. Maybe the injury acted up on him.. Uh..just wonderin.. No matter cuz..

Scheme happened to Troy.

Was playing deep all game, and cards only threw deep a couple times, so no chance to make big plays.

He did miss a couple takles though.

Lebeau might want to re-think schemes that has such a huge play maker not making plays.

the scheme worked perfectly in the first half and for much of the game. Nothing to rethink.

The scheme did not work perfectly at all.

We got one smart play at the one yard line that changed the whole complexion of the game, but the D was getting shredded.

There was some shredding yes... but the scheme was designed to cut off deep balls and in that sense it worked perfectly.. a lot of their big plays were the result of missed tackles.... Actually I would really like to rewatch the game tomorrow by myself, with no other people and no adrenaline rush and then have a ore intelligent analysis.

Uhh, no.

If you think about what got the Cardinals there, you would see it was the big pass. now granted, we gave up a slant for a TD, but that was badly played by the CB....Troy did EXACTLY what he was supposed to do...an outstanding game plan, evenfor those who will now try to rip it apart regardless (ahem, MILL)

I thought the same thing...what happened to Troy...but he was a solid part of keeping arizona point total low....the offense should have been able to...and did...score enough points to win...their are things to bitch about...but not enough to wipe off the luster of being super bowl champs!

now...we can sleep!

troy just missed a pick 6, forgot what qt it was in... sometimes big defensive stars are taken out of the game by the offensive scheme ect... like ed reed and james harrison were in the afccg...

troy's name gets mentioned alot in the running game for blowing up plays in the backfield ect..., the cards did not run at all which basically took half of troy's game away...

OK I just watched the Fitz TD catch and run and it is confirmed! Troy pulled up lame chasing after Fitz. Watch closely toward the end as Troy donshifts from run to gallop when the hammy goes!!

Way to play through pain troy! It jjust goes to show you, if you dont hear Troys name called during a game it means one and only one thing. troy is hurt
