How are you showing your colors for the Super Bowl?

Postby thesteelhammer » Sun Feb 01, 2009 10:55 am

Let's hear it.
How are you showing our colors today?
Got to say why also?
Mojo; Always wear color our team wears; etc?

I'm going with the Bradshaw throwback cause it hasn't failed in getting the win this year.

I know, do I go Woodson, Lloyd or Big Ben? Wore Lloyd last week, may just stay with what works. Not that I'm superstitious or anything. :subngtowl:

Same thing I always wear- Steelers turtleneck with a Steelers V-neck over it.

My son is wearing his usual as well- grey Steelers long-sleeve t-shirt with combat pants.

My wife's got a Hines Ward jersey, and my daughter's got her Big Ben jersey.

And outside, my increasingly tattered Steelers flag still flies (we've had a very windy winter, and that's done the thing in).

It will be retired after the Super Bowl, hopefully with Lombardi #6.

In my years of being a Steelers fan, I haven't really accumulated much gear.

I'm going with the basic Steelers hoodie my husband got for me, My Steelers beanie, and the ratty Terrible Towel that was handed down to me from my uncle some 10 years ago.

I lost my Steelers winter coat in my move from PA to GA in '06. It's not really cold enough down here to wear it, anyway.

Funny Topic...

I got my Hines Ward jersey that wifey gave me for Christmas. She's got a crew neck T. Both of us have caps and towels, so we're pretty nerded out...

We're having a party, too. Here's where it gets Ward, I mean weird. Gold napkins, black plates, serving none other than Roethlisbergers.

Gonna be a great game! :sufootballhelmet:

Hines Ward for president!

I'll be sporting Lamar Woodley with shoulder pads to go with it!!!! LOOK FOR EM!! AND HERE WE FUCKIN GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FWP jersey. Worked pretty well from the karma standpoint in '06. Three boys plus the wife all with Steeler T's.

Will be wearing my Lambert 58 jersey.Got a Ben 7 for my birthday this year and tried wearing it a couple of times ,but to no avail,I would find myself cursing at the TV by halftime, ripping off the jersey and putting Lambert on.Its been only Lambert 58 since week 17 and not gonna change now.Terrible Towel as usual, camo Steelers ball cap.Debating on wearing the Steelers socks I got for Christmas.Man am I pumped for this one. :subngtowl: :subngtowl: :subngtowl:
