I enjoyed reading that very much.
If anyone knows of a youtube clip of the Polamalu interception and his jaunt to the EZ, please post the link.

and thank god the interception was clean and didn't need to be reviewed like the one against SD and the one at Indy in 2005

Can anyone create or send me to a link of the Troy INT
with the Steelers Radio Broadcast?
Or to a link of the Steelers Radio Broadcast for the entire game?

Re: New Article: Stillers-PoeBirds Postgame Analysis and Grades
question, what does farrior have to do to get a grade of B or higher? have 5 INTs, 20 tackles and 10 sacks?
same for lebeau, does his defense have to hold the other team to 0 yards?

That could get them a 'B', but certainly not any higher. For that they'd have to walk on water, end all violence in the Middle East without a single person dying, end world hunger/disease, find and make peace with extra-terrestrial life, AND stop global warming. Only then would they be eligible for that coveted 'A-'
Troy, Harrison, and Woodley, on the other hand, need only get their names mentioned by an over-excited play-by-play announcer once per game.

The wacky part of all this is we will get either another SB trophy or a Bruce Arians firing, but not both .......
Whenever Tom Brady loses, it's always someone else's fault.
Re: New Article: Stillers-PoeBirds Postgame Analysis and Grades
I hope we get rid of arians, but i don't understand the lebeau hate. this year's defense ranks as one of the best all-time, despite having the toughest schedule in the NFL. out of all the previous super bowl teams, stats wise, this team has only been outdone by the 1974 team. That is quite an accomplishment considering what the team has been up against this year, as well as how the game has evolved since the 70's it's much more difficult to hold opponents to less yards with many teams being much better these days in the passing game

Come on now. He did make a touchdown saving tackle when the coverage team blew it. that ought to at least get him a passing grade.

off a middle of the field kick with no hangtime, it's no wonder it was returned for big yardage
i was watching this game with some friends, and the biggest insult came from one who was a chiefs fan out of any of em, saying that was the worst punter he's ever seen in his life

An oscar worthy acting job to draw a roughing flag should be enough for a passing grade too.
(You do know I'm joking about berger and the hardhat right? refering back to a running joke in the game thread.)

I was thinking D+ but it might be a C if we grade on a curve.
I miss Sepuleda too.
