Crying from the Birds

Postby coalcountrystill » Mon Jan 19, 2009 1:09 am

Kind of funny, when The Most Overrated Player In NFL History, Ray Lewis hit Mendenhall earlier this year, he was crowing about how they "took him out"..smiling, laughing...

Now the Ratbird fans are BAWLING about Clark's PERFECTLY LEGAL hit, on McGahee...

Took him out huh Ray.

I don't know what was funnier, watching this magic carpet ride the Ratbirds are on come to an end or seeing Big Ray PRAYING!....LMAOO, what a hypocrite.

I did NOT see him praying when he "took out" Mendenhall. I don't see him praying when he "takes out" other players.

I guess when you get COMPLETELY outplayed, outclassed, outhit, out everything you have to cling to any thing you can. I guess as fans of that clan of a team, Ratbirds fans have to cling to anything they can.

I cannot believe how the network wanted to share the Ray Ray Lewis pathetico prayer story with us...i think me and my crazy game watching friends probably had more genuine concern for willis(although i loved the hit and TO) than Lewis...and he is the last person in the whole stadium I wanted to focus on or cared about at that time...go steelers!!!

I hate RAY RAY AND ALL out of neutral respect, but he is a good person. Well at least since the murder haha. Anyhow, he didn't pray for Mendy because he just separated his shoulder, the hit was no where near as violent of a hit as Clark's hit was on MCGayGAY. I mean I thought he was dead to be honest with u. The ravens are a great rivalry one that I appreciate because both teams are GRITTY.

THE CROWD WAS ROCKING MORE THAN EVER. One of the best times of my life was at HEINZ tonight
Dynasty in the making..........

We have the pieces to the puzzle.

He BROKE his shoulder blade.

And I agree it was not as violent but Lewis DID crow about how he "took him out" and the Raven fans made him out to be the second coming.

Think Suggs would have been praying two years ago when he nailed Ben in Baltimore? or when he cheap shotted him two years ago at Heinz?

I just love this horses**t from the Ravens and their fans, whenever a team hits harder or more often than them they cry like a kid with his first sunburn..its comical.

The fact is the Ravens, a team that prides itself on being physical and hitting harder than anyone, was DESTROYED tonight by a Steeler team that was much MORE physical, and rougher, and more aggressive. The game wasn't even close, two touchdowns on penalties.

Swallow that medicine Ray...tastes good huh?

anyone else love how sweed crushed a ravens defender on a block? on the same play miller runs over the defender trying to tackle him lol. it was just awesome to see the beatdown from a physical standpoint. I do hope mcgahee's okay though, I dont wish any career threatening injuries on anyone, even if they play for the ravens

When the Ravens stop issuing bounties on our guys I'll worry about career ending injuries to theirs.

Terrell Suggs defending Joe Flacco
his quote

"I don't think he struggled. They just made plays. When you got a defense that can make plays like that, I don't think he was placing the ball where he wanted to but this was just their night."

thier official message board is commical, there is actually threads on there asking steeler fans to "leave us alone" for a tough hardnose team they have a bunch of panzy ass fans on that board.

I dont get it, what fun is football if you dont mock your opposing fans/ friends ect?
I enjoyed football since i was a kid mocking and recieving mockings from a group of guys I grew up with who were cowboy and browns fans.

dont be surpirsed if flacco is this yrs derrick anderson, he was annointed the next elite qb and now hes riding the pine. ben carried the team in a few games durring his rookie campain, dallas and jacksonville come to mind in 2004. I dont recall 1 game where flaco actually took the riens and passed his way to victory when the defense did not hold up.

lets see how he does when hes asked to win a few games next yr when that defense is not as good after losing few guys to free agency.

Exactly, they will defend a second place schedule next year.

Teams will begin to understand what Flacco really is.

I dont like him at all, he could not play at Pitt and went on to be a stud at a 1-AA school..I never saw what everyone else does. ANY qb can make plays playing behind their defense EVENTUALLY. His foot work is terrible, his reads are slow and he cant move.

I am telling you he is Kyle Boller revisited. Chris Redmond, Boller, Smith, miss after miss after miss.

The Ravens really wanted Matt Ryan, they "settled" for Flacco. If he was on another team with an average defense, he would have tanked this year.

1st place sked for us = Phins, Chargers & Titans

2nd place sked for them = Colts, Pats & Broncos

it will be interesting so see who's sked is really harder.

That said ---- Next year is a long way off & we still have unfinished business :subngtowl:

That's how you beat the bully at recess - you punch him right in the fucking mouth.

Ed Reed - best of all time ??? Seriously, did he even play last night? Oh yea, I remember Santonio running right past him on the way to the end zone (laughing my balls off).

I give Suggs credit - at least he gave it a go.

The Ravens got what they wanted - and got their ass kicked again. Match...set...game...

Ben's best 3 passes were dropped (Sweed, Parker, and the bad call on the negated Santonio TD). Otherwise, the Ravens would've been BLOWN OUT.

What's our name?

Stillers BITCH!!!

Say it (3) times!!!!!!

Yep.

The preened and crowed all week about how they were gonna "bring it", this "hurricane" coming to Pittsburgh, you are exactly correct, they got what they wanted and got punched in the teeth..AGAIN. And got pretty busted up doing it, couldn't have happened to a nicer bunch or criminals.

Bounties still out?

I don't ever want to see anyone hurt, and I'm glad that McGahee is mostly okay, but Clark lit him the fuck up.

I love how RayRay did his little "kneel and pray" show away from the rest of his teammates, making sure that the cameraman could get a close in shot of him so that he could be easily identified as the player most concerned about his fallen teammate. What a fucking douche bag. Self-promoter right until the end.

I for one am glad Mcgahee is OK. Too bad Sweed did not lay out Ray Ray

Glad for Clark that he is OK. Would suck to have to think you put a guy in a wheel chair.

Mark my words. Baltimore is going to call it a cheap shot if they already haven't.

I had off work today and have watched the highlight about 10 times on espn. This was hard legal hit not matter how you slice it. Clark led with him shoulder as you are tought. Mcgahee actually leaned into the hit and lead with his head more than Clark.

Hopefully Clark did not get a severe concussion on the play. He looked wobby as hell coming off of the field.
