HYPOCRITES
Bart Scott keeps going on & on about how Hines Ward is a cheap-shot artist. Scott said this week that some day someone is going to tackle Ward low and bust his knee.

Here is my problem with Bart Scott et al.
In the Thursday Night game against the Bengals this year, Santonio got knocked out...helmet to helmet. It is routine (& acceptable) for a DB to decleat a WR who is going across the middle.
Yet, when Ward blocks a DB/LB, it is seen as "cheap."

In other words, Scott routinely points out Ward's block on Keith Rivers, but he has yet to even acknowledge the Santonio knockout.

Similarly, Scott talks about how Ward hit him (and Ed Reed...and Rod Woodson), yet Scott never mentions the fact that Ray "The Knife" Lewis broke Rashard Mendenhall's shoulder when there was a bounty on Mendenhall's head!!!

GUARANTEE...???
A friend of mine told me that he heard Ray Lewis on the radio, guaranteeing a win in the AFCCG.
I tried to Google it, and found nothing.
Has anyone heard or read anything about this?

My question: if Ray did say it, why is it not being blown waaay out of proportion, a la the Anthony Smith guarantee???

SUMMATION
Why does the media seem to take always Scott's and The Knife's side?
Ratings would be my answer, but I have to believe that ESPN et al. have more scruples than that...right?...right?
Alas...maybe not.
