Rituals

Postby DashRipRock » Fri Jan 16, 2009 1:19 am

In 2005 we had to go back to the same bar and sit on the same stools for the Indy and Denver games. I thought the Super Bowl was uninfluenced by this behavior, but at the half I told my wife that the team needed me, and I went down to meet my buddies at the same set of barstools. Worked out well.

This year I took my 5 year old over to my buddy's place and watched the San Diego game. We have to do it again this weekend, even though the game starts a bit late. Needless to say, the same exact clothes (Hines Ward jersey for the kid and random sweatshirt for me) are washed and in waiting.

Is anyone else here a slave to this stuff and if so, what is your ritual going to be this Sunday?

When I am in the stands and watch the Jumbotron as opposed to the game we seem to do better.
