Figured it would be 3 or 4.

Meanwhile, the Eagles are 3 point favorites on the road. If it's an all-PA SB, I hope we can figure out how to keep the Eagles out of Ben's face in the 2 weeks between games.

i agree with that, they had no answer to those jailhouse blitzes. arizona's high powered offense doesn't scare me, but philly's defense does

5 does seem high since the point difference in the last two Steelers/Ravesn games combined was 7

I thought 5 was a bit high, too, but then I heard someone earlier talking about injuries on Baltimore's defense. I wonder if that factored into the decision.

hmmm considering the steelers scored 11 points in the first game against the chargers and 35 today,I think the odds makers put stock into the fact the steelers are a much healthier/fresher team then the ravens rite now.Plus ben and willy are much healthier then the 2 meeting vs the ravens earlier this season, ben did not have the deep ball threat he showed tonight which will loosen up the ravens defense and willy has the fast step outside again which the titans hurt the ravens with all day yesterday.

sometimes you guys really show how little you know.......

The Titans moved the ball all game *at will* against the Ravens... only to lose due to unforced errors.... otherwise they win easily.

The Steelers played their best, most complete game of the season this weekend. If they can come out and play in similar fashion, it won't be anywhere near as close as the first two games.

Steelers 27
Ravens 13

Raven's defense likes to use this kind of thing as motivation.
See it as being disrepected.

Odds makers could care less about anything but even betting. They make their money taking the juice without risk. The 5 represents the number that will draw balanced betting for the game.

That's the number they THINK will draw balanced betting. It will be adjusted if not.
