who's going to Ratbird game Sunday?

Postby mikeyg » Fri Dec 12, 2008 10:05 am

this is going to be a great game - an epic battle.

I hope:

1) BA looks at the gamefilm from Monday night last year when we attacked them hard and early thru the air. I know they were down Rolle and McAlister, but I think this defensive backfield can be exploited - no team has really gone after it this year. Maybe that is b/c the rest of the Ravens D has stepped up - not sure.

2) Put IKE on Mason and DO NOT LET MASON beat us. He has had a Pro-Bowl season - I think he will go to the PB - who would have thunk it - a Ravens WR in the PBowl. So - double Mason if we have to, man up the other guys and JUST STOP THE RUN - we win. Watch the trick plays (Cameron is good, very ceative)

I will be there in colors and Pola jersey. WOW - the stakes are so high Sunday. Win and they can let off the gas a little.

I agree. I've been saying for a while we need to throw first, run second. The first game against the Ratbirds was a great example. While Mill may be already preparing his "LeBeau the Lucky" spiel for monday, I noticed that Rolle and Reed are nursing injuries, and Mason, Rice, and Stover are still listed as doubtful. Tear up their depleted secondary, stuff their hurt RB, make McGay-hee fumble a few times, and they can't even kick a FG with Stover's gimpy ankle. Oh, yeah, and their starting LT is hurt. Silverback's gonna have a fucking field day.

Q: How do you keep the Baltimore Ravens out of your yard?
A: Erect a goalpost.

Just be careful and smart about your surroundings. Don't count on stadium security to bail you out...they have been know to turn a blind eye on opposing fans getting the snot kicked out of them. Enjoy the game and come back with a win!

yeah, I know - 10 straight years do I know, except one year that I could not go. I stay away from the alcohol and know when to keep it on the low-down, but thank you for the reminder and well wish's.

It is really fun when we win there, like in 2001 - the place gets silent and the long faces are just PRICELESS!! But I remain a good sport about it!.
