HARD HAT LIST - STEELERS VERSUS REDSKINS
1. Lefty. Came off the scrap heap to restore his luster as a healthy, 28-year-old former franchise quarterback. Ben had a 15.1 quarterback rating. Lefty's was 145.8. We all know that Ben is the face and future of the team, but Byron has shown that Ben - who can't do it alone - doesn't have to.
2. Woodley. His third quarter sack - where he legally body-slammed Jason Campbell to the ground - was the end of Campbell. Campbell wasn't tghe same after that. Woodley is rapidly becoming an All-Pro, and he and Silverback have become the most feared faces of the best defense in the league.
3 Farrior. 11 tackles, he was everywhere. Sure, he missed a couple, but putting him in the top three will piss off Mill.
4. Frazier. Down goes Frazier! Down goes Frazier! Down goes Frazier! When he took a dive at Plackemeier's foot and blocked the punt, the game changed. The biggest improvement on this team this year has been special teams, and this was the biggest special teams play of the year.
Others receiving consideration: Dick LeBeau (9 touchdowns in 8 games!), 20,000 Steeler fans who came to FedEx Field,
Silverback (as usual), Timmons, and the heroic, courageous Aaron Smith.
Your thoughts?

Good stuff, and noticeably lacking in offensive players as well. But do use caution liking the backup QB more than the starter, don't make that Mark Malone mistake.

Farrior is automatically eliminated for the stupid roughing penalty. Yes it was a weak call, but the players know the rules and in todays game it gets called all the time. Other than that he had a pretty good game.

Lets see Farrior had another good game - the stupid penalty but he is constantly ridiculed by CERTAIN people because we resigned him and not Porter. He is the leader of the Defense. If you are ever at the game he is fired up for 60 minutes and gives it his all. The younger guys, and yes Woodly and Timmons included look to him for that leadership. In between plays they are always around him and DL is always communicating with him.
Aaron Smith The unsung hero of the trenches. He wreaks havoc in there.
So we have a tie.

Isn't saying "Mark Malone mistake" a bit redundant?
Re: HARD HAT LIST - STEELERS VERSUS REDSKINS
McLovin votes for Woodley...the dude was most dominant player on the field. Farrior tempting to spite Mill who for whatever reason has it out for this guy. Did he not give Mill an autograph or what?

McLovin told me McLovin is a pedestrian observer of football.
I took is as coming from a third party.
