New England Patriots
Total Offense - 19th
Total Defense - 28th
Won - Loss - 6-1 (best in NFL)

San Diego Chargers
Total Offense - 1st
Total Defense - 1st
Won - Loss - 3-5 (only 9 teams worse)

Show stats don't matter. This is coaching. Hank Poteat played in New England and was serviceable, a complete disaster for us. We rely on talent, they rely on preparation and planning. Throw even a little talent into the mix, it wins every time.

1. Tomlin HAS to challenge the 2nd down play after the assaholic first challenge
2. Randle El is veteran enough to come back for that ball and initiate contact - has to be done
3. Aaron Smith out = ZERO pass rush and our DB's are not good enough to cover for more than 2 seconds
4. Saints blitzed and everyone knew it, still they were successful. We sit back, rush 3 and get toasted.
5. Steelers had the Saints down and out and left them up the same way the Dolphins let the Steelers back up.
6. Urgency is needed or this team will spiral out of control like the ssecond half of last year.

Let's see here, if they can get 10 yds a pop at a 75% completion rate vs, 1-2 yds a pop and no first downs, well that just sounds like a good game plan to me. Especially if your guys are running free thru our secondary!

Holy cow, add our Velcro blitzes into the mix and it is a wonder we are 5-2. I noiced Mr. Timmons got free a few times on his delays but we sure stopped THAT nonsense.

And now we come to our OFFENSIVE coordinator: Am I correct in noticing a sceen early on to Mendy that go him free for several yds? Yeah, I think so too. Can't be havin' nun o' that now, can we? Why, it just might slow down THEIR pass rush!

Can this Bloodclot be any more useless? Man, this guy is an idiot. Problem: IF we get to SB, how do you fire him?
UPSIDE: HE will be the reason we DON'T make it to SB.

Despite losing on a national stage there was one thing that excited me, the tackling! Plenty of guys laid big hits, and the entire defense was disciplined in getting the ball carrier down to the turf.
