Simmons replacement?
Is it Starks? I didn't notice, nor do I recall the announcers mentioning who replaced Simmons last nite.

STAPELTON he seemed to hold his own after he came into the game
Re: Simmons replacement?
Twas Stapleton...Simmons wasn't exactly holding his own so to speak with 2 penalties before he went down. Mahan sucked and still won't miss him but our depth will really be tested now.

For the most part he was better than simmons.
To be air though, there was one blitz that came untouched between Stapleton and Hartwig. Ben managed to avoid him though and make big completion.

Re: Simmons replacement?
Because of the season-ending injury to Simmons, the Steelers will work out guard Doug Legursky and consider signing him to the practice squad. Legursky, a rookie free agent from Marshall University, was with the team in training camp.
