The Good News

Postby indysteel » Sun Sep 21, 2008 7:39 pm

Hey........the Patriots lost. Sounds like the Fins ran they same play about 6 times and the "..
all mighty, well schooled, methodically coached" Cheatriots could not find a way to stop it.

Hey Coach Billicheck -- You friggen pig of a coach. I hope you lose every game from here on out.

the good news is after 3 games you can honestly say the stillers have a very good defense when healthy and could hold anyone in the leage under 20 points!

a few injuries like last season could change that though!

LMAO!

I'll add that:
* Troy had another solid game and showed explosion
* Woodley played solidly and with attitude (although he did make some mistakes)

Joey Porter was talkin' smack that they were going to beat the Pats, and the Dolphins backed it up. I'm happy for the Dolphins, but I really miss Joey being a Steeler. :(

Sucks anytime there's a loss, but a loss to an NFC team in a relatively close game has zero tiebreaker implications. none. This Monday nighter upcoming is a different story altogether, of course. Then there's a road game at Jax on a short week. Gotta forget about Philly and get ready to taken on the Ravens, in a very important early season game. 3-2 is a good number after 5 games. Need to at least split the next 2 before going into the bye. It's be real nice to be 4-1.

My brother & I were debating those mistakes.
He said that Woodley ran himself out of the plays.
I said that Woodley was just too lightning-quick for his own good.

(I think my brother actually won that argument...but, I will never admit it.)

Conclusion: better to be too quick than too slow...(because, one can always learn to slow down, if need be).
