StillSmitter's Week 2 picks ATS
Last week: 9-7 56.3% Last week FLG's: 1-2 33.3%
Home favorites last week were 6-3, while the home dogs were 3-4. Home favorites in divisional matchups were 3-0.
This week (home team in CAPS)
KANSAS CITY ( - 3 1/2) over Oakland
CINCINNATI (- 1 1/2) over Tennessee - Cincy can't be as bad as they looked last week, can they? That would be hilarious if they were, though.
Indianapolis (- 2 1/2) over MINNESOTA - Same as above.
New Orleans (+ 1/2) over WASHINGTON - Has there been a team that has great things predicted for it in the preseason then falls flat on their face more than the Redskins in the last few years?
Green Bay ( - 3 1/2) over DETROIT
Chicago (+ 3 1/2) over CAROLINA - Which team played more above their heads this past week, or will these two teams impress all year?
ST LOUIS ( + 8 1/2) over NY Giants - Just think this is a lot of points
Buffalo (+ 5 1/2) over JACKSONVILLE
TAMPA BAY ( - 7 1/2) over Atlanta - Don't believe we'll be seeing many more games for the Falcons like they had last week.
SEATTLE ( - 7 1/2) over San Francisco - Which team looked worse last week?
ARIZONA ( - 6 1/2) over Miami - A 2-0 start for the Cardinals? What's next - the Jets beating the Pats????
NY JETS ( - 1 1/2) over New England - If there is such a thing as a must win game in week 2, it is this game for the Jets.....Favre's first home game......no Tom Brady.....if Jets lose it is same old, same old...
HOUSTON ( - 4 1/2) over Baltimore
DENVER (+ 1 1/2) over San Diego - No Shawn Merriman? No Super Bowl for Chargers.
Steelers (- 6 1/2) over CLEVELAND - Boy, am I going to hate this schedule. No, not all the 'tough' teams on it, but the non-conforming starting times. What is it, like the middle of October before we get another 1:00 game? Brownies get crushed this week...you think Willie wasn't salivating watching all the holes open up for the Cowboys ground game last week...150+ for Willie and 3 more TD's.
DALLAS ( - 7 1/2) over Philadelphia - Good early season matchup.
FLG's
Indy (- 2 1/2) over MINNESOTA
SEATTLE ( - 7 1/2) over San Francisco
