Steelers Sign TE Leonard Pope

The Steelers signed U.F.A. 6'8 TE Leonard Pope to a 1 year deal. Seems to be a Todd Haley guy, as he has played for him most of his entire career. Az Cards 2006-2008; K.C. Chiefs 2009-2011. Hopefully Haley can use him to his fullest advantage here, although I would think that wouldn't be hard to do being 6'8. Then again so was Matt Spaeth, so...

Something tells me we are going to be hearing how this is the year we start throwing to the TE

I'd say this signing might mean the end of David Johnson as back-up TE.
