Kemoron is good for at least one drive stopping penalty per game, last nite about 3 killers. I can see why barring injury, he lost his job. Kick the Friggin FG, u just got stuffed 3 straight, u didnt put Redman in (after crushiing ht on Mendy) and it puts u up my 7, in case there's any freaky plays later ( quite likely with this team, I give u Farriors 15yd penalty for basic stupidty).
Yes, ur defense was stuffing them, so take the 3, make it 7 and seal a win right there, not well the D will hold em so lets go for it, its the 4th Q not 3rd or before.
7 pt leads alot at that point. The D did hold em and we got the ball back about their 35 yd line and we botched it, probably a Kemoron specialty

Not elegant or inspiring but a win nonetheless. No complaints about the defense, and Worilds contributed a strong game in place of Woodley. The offensive line was underwhelming. I have no idea how far Ben and the young receivers can take the Steelers in the post-season; it would be nice if Miller returned to his solid, competent play at tight end. The 49ers game not only is critical to stay alive in the race for the division title, it will be the last Steelers game against a solid team before the playoffs.

It would be interesting to see a Worilds, Harrison, and a healthy Woodley on the field at the same time, especially on passing downs............... With Pola in the secondary.

I actually missed watching the game because of other plans , but saw the replays afterwards......... Regarding the Harrison hit, maybe the penalty was warranted, but I'll be pist if the league suspends him for the Eighters game............ That hit kind of reminded me of Jack Lambert plastering Brian Sipe........

I also saw footage of the play with Ben's injury......... To be honest, he should have thrown the ball away.......... (I think Ben might have a hang-up when it comes to completion percentage.) The way he walked around, I had a hunch he was OK.............

The Stillers thought they could beat the Clowns by just showing up......... The first and last drives of the game by the Clowns' offense (one of the worst I've ever seen) were too scary, and shouldn't have come down to big stops in/at the end zone to thwart them. This is the same team that was DOMINATED the previous week on Cleveland's field by the Flying Rats..............

And also, in that Ravens' DOMINATION of the Clowns, Flacco didn't play nearly as well as Ben last night.......... (Had Ben played like Flacco the previous week, we would have lost.) The same run defense that stoned Mendy on four straight plays at the goal line couldn't stop a beach ball against the Ravens- Is the Ravens' run game/blocking that much better than ours??

Yeah, the Dick LeBeau sure is stupid. He should have ran on the field to tackle that guy before he could run 28 yards for a 1st down.

He's lucky too. The Steelers could be in the NFC North and he would encounter the Packers & Lions twice a year. Whew, lucky for him we're not.

PS As the playoffs approach, remember this paragraph from a story today about Bears-Broncos yesterday:

That hold by Piss Kemo on Redman's 3rd down run infruriated me. The dumbfuck didn't even need to hold in that situation. Redman already hit the hole, and THEN Piss grabbed The Clowns jersey, when all the moron had to do was simply get in his way, not even block. Just mind numbingly stupid....

Late in the game, Harry relentless pursued McCoy across the field, and then got an ankle-nip sack just before McCoy tried a throw-away, good for a 10-yard loss. A huge play by a huge player.

Harrison's all out hustle saves the game here. --- A prime time rivalry game, in which the Stillers quarterback gives a historical effort.
