You beat me to it. Forget his 6 solos, 2 sacks & 1 forced safety. That all happened because he was either unblocked or blocked by a midget on those plays. A rookie midget, in fact.

In actuality, he WAS unblocked on a couple of those. The key, however, was that he wasn't faked out and closed quickly to stop the play.

He already started in on the Woodster in his PG analysis and grade.

Woodley makes it a little harder on the Mill this week, that's for sure. Especially playing alongside Foote and Farrior, who were little more than bags of stale piss most of the game. Woodley was likely the best Steeler LB out there yesterday.

Mill can defend himself - obviously, especially considering it's his site - but I think his strongest criticisms are justifiably reserved for those players with the largest gap between hype/reputation/contract and actual on-field production. A Limas Sweed or Matt Spaeth will be dismissed out of hand and for good reason but certain players enjoy glowing media coverage that would embarrass a PR firm despite frequent underwhelming performances in games. We should all take a dim view of players who make a splash, sign a contract, and promptly begin dogging it. We should take an equally dim view of coaches who play favorites and, despite all the media blather about the NFL meritocracy, leave talented and/or in-form players to languish on the bench.
