Thank God at least Hines had the good sense not to blow up about getting mistakenly cuffed.

What's funny is he attempted to come off as an intellectual in his tweets, and just proved to everybody what a pure fucking idiot he is. Good thing he choose pro sports as the avenue to which he will make his living, because he would be homeless and starving if he actually had to use his brain. Good for Champion for dumping his worthless ass. Hopefully the team follows suit....


Also, Ron Cook is a jock sniffing douchebag for basically defending him. I doubt very much Cook would be doing so if Mendenhall isn't who he is. I swear, between Cook, Paul Zeise, and Dean K., The Pittsburgh P.G. has the market cornered on arrogant, self important prick sports writers. I'm officially done with that rag as of now....

During an interview with ESPN, Pittsburgh Steelers WR Hines Ward was critical of RB Rashard Mendenhall's controversial tweets. "Everybody's entitled to their opinion. But that wasn't a good opinion. When you tweet that out there, you have to deal with the backlashes. You put everybody out there because everywhere we go we get asked questions about the comments you made," Ward said.

I praise Mendenhall for having to courage to give his honest opinion and he is most certainly an intelligent dude. Stop listening to other people's opinions and read what he actually said. On one of these comments people have such a problem with he said something like "anyone with knowledge of the slave-trade and NFL can see that these 2 parallel each other." The people bashing him for that comment probably don't know jack shit about how the slave-trade used to work.

First off, what he said regarding Bin Laden and the events of 9/11 and a plane not being able to bring down the towers was not an opinion, it is a myth, and has proven to have been in the nearly 10 years since it happened. It might've helped if Rashard actual did research on this before he opened up his ignorant, uninformed mouth. And the slave trade comment about the NFL is disgusting and deplorable. I don't know too many slaves that made millions of dollars and lived in giant mansions, so once again, it is your hero Rashard who doesn't know jack shit about...ANYTHING. Maybe you would have realized this yourself if you weren't a stupid, kool-aid drinking yinzer.
