Content losers
The PPG headline for online news flash of Steelers reads: "Steelers earn playoff spot"
That's ironic, but you wouldn't know that by listening to the postgame interviews on Steelers.com. Spaeth says he thinks he played a good game? At least 4 drops, including what would have been the game winning touchdown! Mundy states he played a solid game, while playing down that he probably came in on Sanchez a little out of control? Those are key plays that Tomlin spoke about his team not having in this game (not to mention Mundy's bat down that seemed like could have intercepted instead). What kind of "standard" is Tomlin expecting of his players? That's not good enough in my book when you fail to make a key play. At least Hines Ward said the team let the fans and the city down. Don't like a lot of players' easy attitude after this one. The Steelers need to get it in gear quickly. They haven't beat a playoff team except for the Ravens since week 1 (Falcons), which hardly counts at that point.
Who wants to step up and demand excellence. Can Joe Greene visit the locker room please!

Sorry Ol' Pal, not gonna happen. Maybe several years ago these 'loosey-goosey attitude' players would have gotten their ears pinned back by the coaching staff for this piss-poor showing but not in todays's world. As with the useless lib-tards running things now, the theory today is treat them with 'Dignity' and 'respect!' Do NOT yell at them! Heaven's (ohh...sorry, liberals don't believe in the 'H' word) no! We must 'dialog' with these athletes and have them get in touch with their inner player! If they are treated too 'harshly, they will run crying to the Union where they will be given a glass of warm milk and tucked in for the night. THEN the filthy lawyers will attack everyone in sight and the Fifth Column will report how they got their poor, little feelings and self esteem 'hurt'. 'Standards?' Can't have that, someone may be 'offended' by the concept and we wouldn't want that...
