Colt, It's what's for Dinner!!!!!!

Ankle sprains to Delhomme and Wallace have moved McCoy up the depth chart. If McCoy plays the whole game, it will be a fun game. However, I could see McCoy getting pulled for (or broken in half) Cribbs. Cribbs at QB makes me nervous. Other than that looks like a Big Ben welcome back party!!!

Football Outsiders did a nice little write up about this:

I'm sure our defense will hold up, even against the wildcat. It's been a proven commodity this year.

The Steelers currently have the league's second-best defense. Against the pass, they rank fourth in the league, with a -17.2% DVOA.
How have rookie quarterbacks fared on the road against such strong defenses? Well, I never thought you'd ask! Since 1993, 41 quarterbacks have gone on the road to play a pass defense with a DVOA of -15% or lower.
Those quarterbacks' average line: 14-of-29 (49.2 percent) for 160 yards, with 0.7 touchdowns, 1.4 interceptions, and 2.7 sacks. Their teams went a collective 7-35, and in the seven wins, their defenses allowed an average of just 14.3 points per game.
I'm sure our defense will hold up, even against the wildcat. It's been a proven commodity this year.

I never like the Steeler's in this sort of scenario. They seem to have a way of playing down to the competition.

Harrison or a woodley rivers style pile drive should do the trick. Bet both of them are chomping at the bits. Cleveland does have a solid O-line though, so lets hope the db's are not sleeping on the brownies. Indy has a point, in these kind of games that seem like a sure win, they tend to play more lax...after the balt debacle though i'm sure they are eager to regain some of the respect they lost. Lets hope ben plays humble, mendy gets enough touches, and all 3 phases show up on sunday. I don't don't know about ya'll but I'm soooo ready for sunday to get here.

We do have a tendency of making average QBs (Gradkowski) look like Montana. Cribbs running the wildcat ran all over our D last year. Hopefully, we have some designed run blitzes to counter it this year.

McCoy might survive this weekend as long as he stays in the pocket, but Colt better not go looking for greener pastures. Guy is a target as soon as he crosses the line of scrimmage.

They can't walk into this game thinking that it's the same old Browns that they're playing, and that is what scares the hell outta me going into this game based on the performance against the Raisins... We'll see i guess.

Tell us about it!
Remember Kelly Holcumbe's "coming out party" against us 5 years ago (approx.) with Cleveland? 400+ yds? Care to guess who the OC was for Cleveland at that time? Any takers?
We do have a way of playing down tom competition. Go back a few years ago when we TOTALLY shut down Brady and McNabb on back-to-back weekends. I mean we had them talking to themselves, then we get blitzed by Cassel in KC, Grad. in Oakland, Cleveland last year. Go figure.

Yeah, I expect a healthy dose of Cribbs in The Wildcat on Sunday. Just looking at the stats for that debacle up in Cleveland last season, Cribbs had 87 yards rushing out of The Wildcat on only 7 carries, while starting QB Brady Quinn was a putrid 6 of 19 for 90 yards passing, with no TD passes, yet still won the game....

Please don't bring that game up, it still is painfull to this day.
The Steelers will only be as successful as Big Ben is!

McCoy played a lot better than I thought he would. That said, most of his 281 passing yards came when The Steelers had a pair of 18 point leads late in the final quarter....

Agreed. I am looking forward to heating up the old browns rivalry over the next few years.
