Here we are in the shadow of the goal posts - 120 seconds left in a game that requires one fucking first dwon to be 4-0. We actually had everything to gain by playing boldly. On second down, and even third down, a quick slant, play action, what the F ever, would have probably caught tha RATS crowding the box. If we dont make it, and even if Charlie gets INT, we are still 3-1, which seems tomake everyone happy anyways. SO NO MATTER WHAT GOING FOR BROKE WAS THE ONLY way to go

Perfection? Either you are a Mill moniker, which wouldn't really suprise me, or you are a dick riding bandwagoner who is to afraid to make an independent thought for fear of being rebuked. You like to make bold statements AFTER the game, when all is said and done, because who can argue against you? If the outcome was a loss surely whatever you say they SHOULDA done can't be challenged. The game is over, there is no way to go back and test your theory. See this is where you are utterly full of shit. Throwing passes in those situations, especially if they resulted in a pick six and lost would of had you SCREAMING for arians to be fired. I can imagine the rants now... "why would you throw with your 4th string QB" "why not run the clock down and try to win with the RB who has picked up tough yards all day or at worst put the game in your dominant d's hands?" "why put the ball in your qb's hands to make a play when he has missed on so many passes and looked scared and timid all day?" In case you forgot, mendy was picking up first downs running the ball against a stacked box ALL day. He scored 2 running TD's. Or did you conveniently forget about all that? he had a 3.2 ypc, do the math. Did you think the 2 penalties had anything to do with the play calling? No? Didn't think it through too much did you, just spouting off again right? Because that's what your butt buddy does right? You know if they would of passed less often we would of won the game. That's no big bold statement either. Had he not gone shotgun on 3rd and seven at the ravens thirty one and run a simple dive reed would of been in MUCH better position to kick a field goal. Instead he had a 49 yarder. Any positive yardage on a running play would of made it more in the 37-40 yard range.
Then AGAIN on 3rd and 4 what do we do? PASS, incomplete of course and skippy reed has to try another difficult attempt which he overcompensates for his previous miss. In a game that's historically been won or lost by 6 points or less Tomlin and the gang continuously tried to go for the win by throwing, as you so very much wanted him to do on the last series. But they had their chances the whole game and kept throwing incomplete or sacked for a loss. Did that factor into their decision? Probably. You can narrow down the loss to that last series all you want, but the fact is we lost this game with those 2 series by throwing on 3rd and going for the win instead of playing smart and picking up positive yardage and giving your field goal kicker a better chance of making them. Instead we got sacks, incompletions, and missed field goals. LOSS End of story. We lost the game. Move on, it happens. Be grateful we are 3-1 with Ben coming back. Or keep crying, I don't really care either way. I just find it amusing your still wahhhhing about this game. I bet you still cry at night about the 95 superbowl dontcha?

I mean I know Ed's been hurt, so he hasn't been able to play for a bit (and to be honest with you, he's probably still looking for his clit that Hines Ward separated him from on that MNF game a few years back), but damn I never figured he'd have the time to troll message boards.
