You're definately on to something there. Funniest part is that your article continuously references Bradshaw as "reverend" and then Cook refers to Bradshaw 's "preaching". Eerie, isn't it?

What a plagiarizing jagoff!

As a journalist who works for a newspaper myself, I suggest you print out your article from Stillers.com and Cook's article from the PG and send a letter to the editor at the PG calling Cook out on the whole thing.

The are too many similarities between yours and his a week later to not warrant a response.

Sorry Palmer, but Cook lifted nothing from your piece. I knew all the facts reported in Cook's article long before I read yours. Frankly, his was much better (he is, after all, a pro). Instead of quoting an exchange between some random internet chat room posters and antecdotes from your aunt, he actually sourced his stuff from Bradshaw's own book to show that Terry was no saint in the bars.

He pointed out that Terry is a three-time loser in marriage (a fact) and that he was married during the time he admitted to chasing women at bars (a fact). You claim he beat Jo Jo Starbuck (a rumor she has consistently denied) and was mean to your aunt (whatever).

Keep up the articles. You are actually among my favorites on this site. But check your own ego before you start condeming others - even if they make easy targets.

I wouldn't go so far as to say there was any plagiarism involved. However, Palmer's got a point about the timing of the article. Bradshaw's last 'Ben sucks' comments were made at the end of the preseason (the final announcement on Ben's suspension was made after game 4 and Bradshaw made the comments prior to Goodell's announcement). It's kinda odd that he would write an article that would make the front of PPG's website about something that happened 3 weeks prior - it's kinda old news at this point. Could be a total coincidence. Who knows?

Since I think both articles were right on, I say it's all good.

I think Palmer is saying that he lifted the "idea" of writing the article, not specifically plagiarizing content. Palmer has a very valid point on this one so ease up on the guy.

Palmer - continue to do what you do!

he should of taken a page from still mill instead and called terry bradshaw a homosexual who drew his rage, and that ben was now the #1 steelers qb, and terry, would soon do his own disappearing act a la jason gilDong. terry peed the bed as a toddler, and now does again as a senile citizen.

and bubby brister would be the best qb who ever lived if dwight hands of stone didn't drop 5,000 passes every year, and dick lebeau gets a F- cause his defense is tied for #1 in points allowed, instead of solely being #1. and the faggot has no business even allowing a field goal until at least the 8th game of the season. which, 1 would be marginally acceptable.

Haha I was talking about MDSteelersFan. The way he jumped to his defense with all the brown nosing is kind of suspiscious!

So if I don't trash Woodley or Arians or climb up James Harrison's a-hole, then I must be a Ron Cook plant....is that it?

I like Palmer's stuff. I said so in my earlier post. But he is full of himself for suggesting that Cook lifted anything from him. Writing on the same topic does not amount to plagarism. Perhaps if he had tooted his horn about beating Cook to the punch (which he did) and then noted some of Cook's additions to his thesis (which were numerous) I wouldn't have bothered posting anything.
