Thought the same thing on mcfadden. All over White even if he made the catch. 100 times better then watching Lewis run around in circles.

Dennis Dixon was in consideration for the hard hat? Are you fucking kidding me?

Timmons was seemingly everywhere and never once got trucked onto his back as Foote & Farrior like to do. Pouncey really impressed me with his ability to get to the 2nd level. Holding a block at the point of attack is expected, but he always seemed to be able to pass the initial defender off and move to a LB. Outstanding!

Winning teams have to be strong up the middle. Good sign on both sides of the ball.

I dont know for how many years now...but we've really been hitting the nail on the head with the first round draft picks.

I also shed a small tear of joy for StillMill mentioning Dermontti Dawson....we can only be so lucky to have another incarnation of him at center....

Pauncey is really showing his worth in gold. Very very happy with his rapid ascension.

It wasn't the best performance, but it's not as bad as you tried to make it out to be.

You still haven't explained to me how, a QB who completes almost 70% of his passes and has an 80+ QB rating is the "worst peformance by a QB in a long time".

All of Dixon's throws were extremely high percentage passes. The only remotely difficult one was to Wallace. Completing these passes are fine and all but when you can't keep the chains moving it's a pretty irrelevant stat.

Explain to me how the hard hat could be given to a QB who made zero trips to the redzone? How about one that should have thrown 4 picks? Other than the first drive, you can hardly say he played any role in our points at all. Making Reed kick from 52? Our D giving us a short field in OT?

You can't even tell me that you had any hope of scoring an offensive TD throughout the entire game. I actually was posting in another forum during the game that if we won the coin toss in OT, we would lose the game.

Once again, you're pinning me to extreme opinions that I never laid claim to. I never said Dixon was deserving of the Hard Hat, nor did I say he played exceptionally well.

But you straight up said it was the "worst performance by a QB in a long time". Maybe you didn't watch Sanchez's performance against the Ravens? Or Flacco against the Colts last year?

Dixon played somewhere around mediocre, and that's pretty much all we can ask of a 5th round draft pick starting with very limited experience.

I stand by my words. And if that wasn't, today's Dixon/Batch showing was certainly close.

25 yards for Batch+18 yards for Dixon = :sudancin:

Those stats are scarey. How the hell are we 2-0? :P
