I think the real goat-fucking occurred when Colbert franchised his weak-legged kicker. I laughed my ass off at the Bungles last year when they franchised a kicker, now, I have to deal with 4-5 more years of this homo. Reed should just kick everything OOB. The difference in starting field position would be +/- 3 yards, and it guarantees no return for an easy TD.
This true, so I'm hoping they'll go with a KO/long FG specialist. Reed's accurate within his limited FG range, but he kills us with his half-a**ed KOs.

Mayock on the NFL network says he's never seen so many good D-linemen in a draft. He says there are normally around 7 who deserve to go in the top3 rounds. This yer he says there are 12-13 that are deserving of that grade, so there should be some even available in Rds 4-5.
This team NEEDS to get a corner or a top safety on the top round. F$#ck the lineman - they can be had later in the draft.

I didn't realize until this article that this was the Steelers version of the Cobert Report. Thanks for the laugh, these days they come less often.

That's how the StillMill operates. He gets some completely mundane and trivial prediction right, and jumps around, pounding his chest like a gorilla on crack.
If he's wrong, he just pretends that was his stance all along.
And yet, one of Mill's biggest criticisms of Cowher was that Cowher spent too much time tooting his own horn and deflecting blame, instead of admitting his own mistakes.
I always found that hilarious.
I love how he posts these rants and so called "analysis" but is nowhere to be found when guys like iron city, krieder, niagra, pump, etc... post intelligent rebuttals that completely make sense, but because they conflict with his "article" are dutifully ignored. Smells like hypocrisy in here...

The only thing that smells around here are your posts, StillGoingWeak. The stench is getting unbearable. Please limit the amount you are emitting.

Wow, some amazing wordplay there. The way you took the word "strong" and changed it to its opposite. I mean, that was incredible. I haven't seen that much ability since the immortal Fred Durst somehow managed to rhyme "nookie" and "cookie".

I dunno, I thought franchising Reed made sense. Who else do you know that's as consistent as he is w/ FG's, ESPECIALLY in the winds of Heinz Field? He's not great at kickoffs but he almost always delivers in the clutch on a bad, windy field. The 2009 Chargers found out how important it is to have a reliable kicker. For that matter, so did the 2005 Colts. Both lost playoff games at home w/ kickers that choked. I'll take Reed, warts and all, rather than experiment w/ others and maybe end up w/ another Kris Brown.

NOTE -- The Steelers have addressed Hampton's notorious weight issues in his new contract, and it would cost him $1 million if he does not meet the standards agreed upon. Hampton's $21.3 million contract includes a $6.5 million signing bonus as part of his deal with annual compensation of $4 million, $4.91 million and $4.89 million. He will receive an additional $1 million in total, pro-rated, over three seasons if he meets the weight requirements.

I read somewhere (can't remember where) that his last contract also had a weight clause, but he never hit it because he really didn't care about the bonus. The problem, in my mind, is that it's structured as a bonus, as opposed to being a core part of the deal. Basically, if he stays under the weight limit, he gets extra money. I'd prefer it to be structured so that if he dips over that weight limit, he get penalized by having money taken away. It sounds like trivial semantics, I know. But I don't think Casey really cares about hitting that bonus.

Fat Casey will be on the Ski Machine, and the bike at St. Vincents again come Summertime. He can't peel himself away from the Buffet all off Season... I would love to see a stipulated Contract that would take back pay if he came in overweight, but he'd go crying to the P.A., and the Contract would be deemed unfair...
Bruce Arians: Proudly carried the Honor of Short Bus All-Star 2007-2011. Good job, and glad you're gone Dumbfuck!!!!!
