Thomas Jones as a Stop-Gap????
Thomas Jones got career-high totals in many categories last year and will still be released on Friday. Anyone feel like the Rodney Dangerfield of the NFL is worth a look? I know he's over 30 but numbers don't lie. We are not talking bout LT here.

Re: Thomas Jones as a Stop-Gap????
He will won't too much money to be a stop-gap RB because he and his agent still believes he can start. New England could end up where he plays if they decide to part with Maroney and Bellichick would love nothing better than to stick it to the Jets.

There's going to be a glut of veteran running backs on the marker this year. They can sign one in July or August for cheap. LT, Westbrook, Jones, Parker. I'll take Parker of those.

There will be a glut of RBs available come camp-time. Unless the guy is a pile-mover, the guy who comes cheapest should be considered.
That being said, I don't think ANY of those guys will come cheap, especially FWP.
Anyone out there know of any older pile-moving RB's on other teams who may be released, for Stiller review??

Thanx for the extensive list, IC man. A couple of those names probly out of Stillers $ league but are nice to know about.
McLain is an absolute beast - still remember him using Timmons like a Welcome-Mat a few Ravens gms ago.
