REX for A-Hole of the Year

Postby NJSteel27 » Wed Jan 06, 2010 6:31 pm

Can you believe the audacity of the Jets head coach?
He said today that he feels the Jets are the favorites because of their defense.

Hey, Rexy-baby.
Is that the same mirror you keep looking into that gives you the impression that your body looks good?
It must be.

Aren't your Jets REALLY 7-9?
I mean, c'mon.
Didn't your Jets get their last 2 wins because the Colts and the Bungholes would rather make you win for fear of Pittsburgh being in the playoffs? your record might say you're 9-7, but we all really know you're nothing but a 7-9 team.

Get real, chubster.

rex ryan admitted they backed into the playoffs and offered, as a follow-up, "so what?"

so he may be delusional in thinking they are favorites now, but he certainly understands why they made it.

I don't much care for the guy, but maybe he's trying to build his team's confidence heading into the playoff game. What do you want him to say - we don't have a prayer? I don't have any problem at all with what he said.

I think he was just doing it for show, to take the pressure off his guys.

In any event, he'll learn...like Cowher finally did...that it does not matter if you have the top-rated defense and rushing attack if your quarterback sucks ass.

In order to win like the 2000 Ravens (and the Jets' defense is nowhere near as good as the 2000 Ravens' defense), you need competent QB play (which the Ravens got from Trent Dilfer).

Mark Sanchez would have to improve his game by three orders of magnitude to reach competent.

I mean, seriously. Here are the playoff QBs.

Sanchez
Brady
Manning
Rivers
Palmer
Flacco
McNabb
Romo
Favre
Brees
Rodgers
Warner

One of these things is not like the other...

The Jets only have a chance to beat Cincy because, well, the Bungles are the Bungles. Either San Diego or Indy is going to chew up that D & force Sanchez to pass. And we all know that'll mean about 4 INT's for him.
