Two-back set

Postby SteelThatDon'tRust » Thu Dec 17, 2009 8:35 pm

Assuming Willie Parker were somehow not traded and stayed healthy—and Arians gets traded—how productive do people think a Willie / Mendy two-back set would be for the Steelers? Would it make sense? Willie at his best was best at taking hand offs and pitches to the outside, while Mendy has shown himself to be just as good at this (if not quite as fast) and able to do some serious damage between the hashes when the blocking is there too. What do people think? Mendy will apparently get over a 1,000 yards rushing this year despite his benching and the ridiculous pass percentage of the offense. This is a very bright spot in an otherwise, well, you know...
