Defense against the bubble screen - quick hit
I looked for the stat today but could not find it but will contend wildly that the Steelers have to be the best team in the NFL against the WR bubble screen or quick 1-2 yrd throw to the WR. Everytime I watch an NFL game this is a good gainer - usually 7 or more yds as the WR stiff arms the D-back to the sideline and stretches out for a good gain.
But how many times have we seen Gay, Ike, Troy, or T. Carter making these tackles with little or no gain on these plays. I don't see any other team stop it this consistently.
Follows suite with the PG article on good tackling.
